Vinegar and water are the main ingredients in the universal porridge, so those inexpensive ingredients are found in roughly every home kitchen. In addition, an extracted citrus fruit is needed for the spray, which is used to refract the smell of vinegar. It takes more than a week to get started with that citrus extract, but the preparation itself is quick and simple. The spray is also prepared at a faster rate if you replace the extracted citrus fruits with, for example, ready-made essential oils.
The all-purpose cleaning spray made with this instruction is effective and leaves the surfaces clean. Although it may sometimes feel that corrosive, dissolving, or at least paint strippers are needed after cleaning infants, it is not very safe for children. All the ingredients in this do-it-yourself cleansing spray are non-toxic, so it’s safe to use.
Tip! The citrus peels needed for the instructions should be put to good use before preserving. So make lemonade or pop an orange for a snack and collect the peels.
Supplies:
2.5 dl spirits
1-3 citrus fruits
2.5 dl water
Spray bottle
Bowl
Recipe:
- Put the peel of a lemon, or other citrus fruit, in a sealed jar and cover with vinegar. Leave in the jar for 1-2 weeks.
- Strain the preserved peels through cheesecloth or a strainer into a spray bottle.
- Add as much water as vinegar so that the finished spray contains half the water and half the vinegar.
- Shake and use!
Definitely a test worth testing, so easy and convenient. This can be used to wipe both high chairs and even children’s toys, without fear of disgusting toxins near the child.
